Singapore Green Plan 2012

The Singapore Green Plan 2012 (SGP2012) is Singapore's long-term blueprint towards environmental sustainability. Launched at the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa, the Green Plan is making good progress. Since its inception, many improvements, such as improvements in air quality, the establishment of a robust and sustainable water supply system, and an improvement in nationwide recycling rates. Efforts at biodiversity conservation have also been renewed, along with increased levels overall environmental awareness due to a variety of environmental conferences being held here.
